Yesterday ie the 14 th of January was unique for a toastmaster like me.I was lucky enough to attend and even involve in the annual toastmaster meet which was held at Hotel Hill Palace i Kochi.
What was special about the getogether was that you could feel the toastmaster effect in each and every moment of the meet.
Me with my friend Tittu who was the master of the ceremony had to report at around 6:00 pm at the hotel.Even before the meeting began what actually fascinated me was the ambience of the roof top,you can call it one of its kind.The dim yellow ambience of the roof to pwhich blended with the keralite ethnic look of the place......wow,that was simply relaxing.........
To start with we had small exciting games like the memory check,guessing the weight etc.......
Then to ease the atmostphere we had the ice breaking where every member with their guests had to introduce themselves.That was the time when you could see bursting into laughter because of the jokes cracked from different ends of the venue.
By around 7 pm the master of the ceremony presides over with a striking introduction........Tittu, student infact with great potentials of hosting big award nights like the oscars or so with his dynamic way of presenting himself.I was lucky enough to assist him.
He started with the peculiarity of the year 2007.
To rejuvinate the crowd we had a well organized cultural meet which included dance, music etc..After that TM Sreekant ,a movie freek and kids lover organized games for kids under 10.
The gathering moved with another three sets of games under the leadership of TM Monish,TM Sabu and TM Nirmala.They all deserve enormous amount of appreciation.The secret behind their outstanding performance was guess wat people!!!!!!!!!!!!! Toastmasters............the way the club trains individuals to use their talents to the max.Hmmmmmmmmmm inspiring though ....
Finally results of the party games were announced and the prizes were distributed by ATM Daniel and TM Joseph Lukose respectively......By 9:00pm to conclude the meet TM Joseph L ukose delivered his vote of thanks..........
For the Grand Finnale we had a mouthwatering buffet in a candle light ambience.......wow that will actually stay really memorable......
This was just a getogether of Kochi Toastmasters Club..........If you realy want to become a eminent and dyanamic speaker along with perks like being a mind blowing leader join the Toastmasters club in your locality
